You’ve got to see this.

We always get a kick out of seeing a quilted car. You might even know (or be part of) a group of quilters who have managed to piece their orphan blocks into a quilted tea cozy for a Mini or VW bug, and they drive it on special occasions. I’m sure that day doesn’t go by without someone asking “How long did it take?”

So I was intrigued by this article from yesterday’s Denver Post. http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_20676617/hand-beaded-vw-beetle-rolls-into-denver-airport

This VW bug is not quilted. It’s beaded. Yes, the whole thing, including the steering wheel. And the answer is 9,408 hours…Jan Magee, The Quilt Life

    so, what is the trick to see the beaded car? Everything I have tried does not work. My currosity is definitly piqued.
