This is really cool!

Every day is a surprise. When I fired up my laptop this morning, the first thing I saw was a giant Tumbling Blocks quilt, of a sort. The article on Yahoo News called them “snow crop circles.” A man named Simon Beck tromps around in snowshoes to create these massive designs. And they are quilt patterns! There’s a Giant Dahlia and a Princess Feather of sorts, and more. The link is below so you can see for yourself. And just when I thought I couldn’t stand the sight of one more snowflake. I was recently at a paper piecing class where someone had the cutest was a tennis shoe about 5×7. She said it was from American quilter. I have checked out many websites and have not found it. I’m wondering if someone can help me locate it, thank you.
