Texas Quilt Shop Wins Kimberly Einmo

Yes, the Cabbage Rose quilt shop in Fort Worth, Texas, has won Kimberly Einmo. But, they only get to keep  her for ONE DAY.

AQS sponsored a contest for quilt shops who attended the Houston Quilt Market last year. The prize was a visit from author, teacher, and designer Kimberly Einmo to teach at their store. The lucky winning store was the Cabbage Rose. Kimberly will be teaching there September 23, 2012.

In addition to being an international quilt instructor, Kimbery Einmo is also the author of the AQS quilt books Precut BonanzaQuilt a Travel Souvenir, Jelly Roll Quilts & More, and Jelly Roll Quilt MagicShe will be presenting a workshop called Lone Starburst based on one of her original designs.

Cabbage Rose was established in December of 1997 by Karen O’Neill. It started with only a few bolts of fabric and has grown to over 8,000 different fabrics from Moda, Free Spirit, Rowan, Riley Blake, RJR, P&B, Benartex, Michael Miller and many more! They carry quilting cottons, home decor fabrics, reproductions, batiks, laminates, and  flannels! Cabbage Rose also stocks plenty of quilting and fashion patterns, kits, and books for endless projects to keep you creative and inspired!

If you are anywhere near Fort Worth, you won’t want to miss this one day only opportunity to take a workshop with Kimberly at the Cabbage Rose.
