Stockholm Star: Step 11: Measure, mark, and trim

I’m going to have to do this on the floor. I have a pair of cool laser levels that will help me mark my trimming line.
I’ll start by measuring from the center to the shortest point on the side, in all four directions. 25”, 25”, 24 ½”, 24 ½”. Darn. OK. It’s 24 ½” from the center. That will be fine.

But before I trim, I’m going to stay-stitch ¼” inside my marked line.
Now I’ll hand the top off to our contributing editor, Irene Berry, who’s going to quilt it…Jan Magee, The Quilt Life
