Rainbow Rotini mystery quilt by Ginny Andersen

American Quilter reader Ginny Andersen followed the clues in the Rainbow Rotini Mystery Quilt by Marjorie Rhine which began in the March 2012 issue of AQ and has submitted her completed quilt. If you’re an AQS member, you can access all three installments of this pattern now at www.AmericanQuilter.com.

"Secondary Rainbow" by Ginny Andersen

Ginny writes: My Rainbow Rotini mystery quilt is called Secondary Rainbow because I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by using a secondary color palette – not normal colors for me. The pattern was challenging, and it was my first pieced sashing experience. So much movement and fun! This quilt will be a gift for my niece, Kayla. The thrill of seeing how the mystery is finally solved never fails to amaze me!
