AQS certified quilt appraisers will be on hand during the 5th AQS Quilt Show & Contest-Des Moines at the Iowa Events Center October 3-6, 2012. They can appraise new or antique quilts for insurance replacement or fair-market values.

Walk-ins are welcome on Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Appraisal Station inside Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center.

Appraisal fee is $50 per quilt, payable at quilt check-in.
