The American Quilter’s Society is the publisher of quilting books and two quilting magazines,  American Quilter and The Quilt Life, and the producer of four quilt shows and contests each year.  During its almost 30 year history, AQS has set the standard of excellence in offering quilting products, quilting workshops, a Quilt Appraiser Certification Program, quilt shows and contests and other activities in the world of quilting.

These positions are currently available:

Book Editor

The American Quilter’s Society seeks an editor for how-to quilt books. This full-time position is located in Paducah, Kentucky. A cover letter and resume should demonstrate how-to quilt editing experience, skills in quilt pattern and text editing, and be accompanied by work samples (before and after edits if possible). Quilt related experience is required. Position is available immediately. Send materials to:

Graphic Designer

Graphic design position available. Extensive knowledge in Adobe CS4 with a main focus on InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop on a Mac platform is required. Web design experience is a plus. Job description includes, but is not limited to, creating page layouts for company publications and designing merchandise such as T-shirts and other souvenir items. Some travel is required.
