Jennifer Rounds’s quilt Scottish Rose (the story and pattern start on page 70 of the August TQL) is just lovely.
It’s definitely on our list of quilts-to- make-someday-when-we-have-more-time. But in the mean time (while we’re amusing ourselves, collecting just the right shades of blue for Scottish Rose), we just might start another of Jennifer’s quilts. It’s quicker and simpler but with the same fresh feel.
