It’s Nearly Quilt Auction Time – Participate from Home Too

For the first time in quilting history, the Live Quilt Auction at the 2012 AQS Quilt Show in Paducah will be broadcast live via Webcast.  Here is how you can participate from home:

Sign up for the Live Auction Webcast:

Then, from the list of events, select:

Special Event: The National Quilt Museum’s Live Quilt Benefit Auction (Thur. 6pm) $10.00 – Just visit this website at Auction time to participate.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email .

At 6 p.m. (Central time) on Thursday, April 26, you can click on the link in your email to view the webcast and log into the Chat Room (at the bottom of the page , click on

JOIN THE CHAT SESSION!“) to participate in the auction.

The Museum will have staff manning the Chat Room to submit your bids as the auction progresses.  While you’re watching the auction in one window, you’ll be able to post your bid and see bids in the chat window from other webcast viewers as well as bids from the floor.  This link will also be posted on the webcast window for your convenience.

Credit card payment will be accepted for online bids.

Shipping will be added to winning bids from the Chat Room.
