The design is simple and scrappy enough that it looks at home, no matter what the season. Of course, you don’t have to use red and green, pick out your favorite colors. Jan gives you a shortcut method for piecing the quilt, so you might want to get started on some quilts for gifts, too.

Jan, how many blocks are needed to make a lap size quilt? Also,do you use a quilt-as-go method as you put the quilt together?
