Yes, it’s true! Another great reason to visit Quilt City USA™.  It’s called the River’s Edge International Film Festival and the 4th annual is coming up Nov. 1 through 4.

The big news for quilters is that the documentary Why Quilts Matter has been juried into the festival lineup for showings on Nov. 2 and 3. If you remember, the June 2012 issue of The Quilt Life contained a big article about the documentary and its importance.

While you’re there, don’t forget to look in on the National Quilt Museum. The exhibits on view will be Material Witnesses (quilts by members of the Manhattan Quilters Guild) and fiber sculptures by Priscilla Sage. Unique!
