AQS Special Events:
Wednesday, August 22, 6 – 8 p.m.: All-Star Review, demonstrations by this year’s instructors
Thursday, August 23, 7 – 8:30 p.m.: An Evening with Caryl Bryer Fallert
Friday, August 24, 7 – 8:30 p.m.: Alex Anderson on Center Stage; this event was sold out but we’ve been able to add some additional seating so you can still register to see Alex.
Saturday, August 25, 9 – 10:30 a.m.: Brunch and Trunk Show with Cathy Wiggins.
The location of this event has been changed from Ballroom D in the convention center to the Gerald R. Ford Ballroom in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel (connected to the convention center). You will enjoy being in this beautiful room for the brunch; it is complete with the Presidential Seal in the carpeting on the floor.

Thanks for the good info. It is better than the
Google Grand Rapids site. I appreciate the address of
the Meijers Gardens.
I think everyone coming to the quilt show will love Grand Rapids! It is a great city with lots of things to do, great restaurants, and good shopping. Meijer Gardens is terrific. The John Ball Zoo is another fun spot. There’s lots of nightlife within walking distance of DeVos Place, and great beaches not far from the city.
