  • Christina Cooper says:

What an awesome blessing the DREAM STUDIO would be. I love the Tracy sewing cabinets but it’s only been a dream so far. I’ve been quilting 4-yrs now once I graduated from college at 50! I love to quilt for family and friends, but this year my desires have pulled me not to how many quilts I can complete and enter in my local guild, but to make a difference in folks in the Leitchfield rest homes. This year someone donated 30 lap blankets from the Dollar Store and of the 96 folks who didn’t get one begged to trade. It breaks my heart that most of these folks are forgotten and a quilt of love may make give them comfort and love. I’m committed to making 30 lap and 20 baby quilts for our women/children shelter -that is after work. Let’s all make a difference. Who knows, if I win I’m turning my garage into my quilt studio and can start teaching my sister Heritage Girls to quilt. Let’s all make a difference and be a blessing in someone’s life.

  • Joanne says:

Last fall I was resting on a chair at the end of a long AQS show day in Des Moines. A woman placed her purse on the chair next to me. I was hardly awake, but I couldn’t help but hear her speak so excitedly about the Gammill she she had been “playing” on. I thought that she was speaking to her husband and was telling him that she HAD to have the machine. She ended the sentence with “THAT I WON!” She was so excited about her prize, she couldn’t contain herself. She had been talking to the Gammill dealer that lived near her. Suddenly, I was no longer weary from the long day. I had the pleasure of listening as she shared her excitement with me. I was thrilled for her. It would be thrilling to be the next winner, however, I hope that whoever does win the grand prize is as thoroughly appreciative as that woman was.

I also have been selftaught quilting.I never seam to keep anything for my self, everyone who visits ,falls in love with my things and I’ll say no more.I also just became a first time grandmother to a sweet little girl,so I am sure there is alot of things that I will be making for her. • Katie says:

On the page headed “2013 Paducah Dream Giveaway, which I accessed from the link in the AQS newsletter, “Click here to read more” is the first hyperlink.

Clicking it starts an endless cycle of links to see the Prize Gallery and the Rules, both of which work, but the “Click Here to Enter” link NEVER works. I’ve tried it six times now and each time I was just taken back to the Prize Gallery. It’s hard to enter when you can’t find an entry form!

I know the odds of winning in giveaways with so many entrants aren’t good, but I would like to enter and have a chance of winning. Please help!

    • Sylvia says:

Katie, the link failed for a little bit and we now have it working again. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience. You can also call our toll free number to register, 1-800-626-5420. Sylvia Thomas, AQS Office Administrator,

  • Katie says:

Thank you, Sylvia Thomas! After seeing your reply to my comment, I was able to locate the entry form with no trouble today. Now I have a chance at winning one of the prizes, which are great components for a dream studio.
